Loppiaisena oli kirpeä pakkanen ja ihana auringonpaiste. Halusin jo pitkään lähteä kiipeämään Kulomäelle eli lumen jättöpaikalle katselemaan maisemia, mihin tarjoutui hyvä mahdollisuus tänä vapaapäivänä. Odotin tältä retkeltä myös lentokoneiden bongailua, joten kamera lähti tietysti mukaan matkaan. Eräs mies tosin luuli minun etsivän muistaakseni tunturikiurua, mutta ei, en harrasta lintujen bongausta :D
On Epiphany day it was intense frost and great sunshine. For a long time I wanted to climb up to the hill called Kulomäki and see the views from there. It is place for extra snow when there is too much snow on roads that is has to be taken somewhere else. I waited to see also airplanes on this trip so I had of course a camera with me. One man just thought that I am also searching for a shorelark bird if I remember correctly but no, birdwatching is not my hobby :D

Ihmettelin aluksi, kun lentokoneita ei näkynyt laskeutuvan yhtään tämän mäen suunnalta. Vähän ajan päästä niitä alkoi kuitenkin tulemaan useampikin. Paikka on kyllä hyvä lentokoneiden näkemiseen lähempää. Joku kerta täytyy lähteä illalla näille seuduille, kun sattuu olemaan kirkas sää.
At first I wondered why there were no airplanes landing from the direction of that hill. After a while there were though several planes coming. That hill is good place to see airplanes more near. Later I have to go to same place in evening when the weather will be bright.
